Framework method of analysis now supported by NVivo 9 software

NatCen is pleased to announce that from today, our Framework method of analysis will be supported in NVivo 9, QSR International's market-leading qualitative data analysis software.

The Framework method is NatCen's innovative research approach, formerly supported by FrameWork software and used in areas such as health research, policy development and program evaluation to systematically and comprehensively analyze qualitative data sets.

This exciting partnership between NatCen and QSR International combines the organizations' respective strengths in methodology and research technology to bring new value to their customers. Users of the Framework method will now have more flexibility with their data set than ever - including the ability to apply the Framework method to all data formats, including documents, PDFs, audio, video, spreadsheets, database tables and images.

NatCen leads the way in qualitative research on social issues in the UK and were amongst the first to develop a systematic approach to qualitative data analysis. The Framework method of analysis is applied to all of NatCen's qualitative data, collected using a range of techniques including in-depth interviews, focus groups and observation methods.
