Children, Schools & Families

We are perhaps the only research organisation with substantial experience of conducting large and complex surveys, as well as in-depth, qualitative studies in most areas covered by family policies. Our work ranges from research on childcare provision and childrens education, to parental employment and family support. We have also tracked the changing nature of family life through surveys such as the British Social Attitudes survey and the Same Sex Couple legislation evaluation.
